"Prussian Winter" Series
Photography, video, 2014-2017
The project consists of a series of black and white photographs that were taken in the Kaliningrad region — the former East Prussia. In the photographs, there are no objects or traces of human activity to be seen. Therefore, their connection to a definite time: these places could look as they did yesterday, or ten or a hundred years ago. The work on this project has lasted for 8 years and is ongoing.
